This looks fun, but as someone who experienced Helene, I can confidently say you should never do this. You never know what's in that water.... bacteria, nails, debree, dead animals, etc.
I had to get outside the moment the rain stopped. Been too cooped up inside. Got a muddy hole in the back yard full of water, figured now might be a good time to learn to purify clay and make a flower pot. Also, yall, relax. Its just a slow storm drain, not sewage contaminated flood water.
