My new cpu fan and heat sink was the size of a small fridge.
It took me nearly a hour to finally force latch it onto the board with shredded fingers.

as a low-tier classic car guy I have to disagree! Gotta replace PCs at our office that are perfectly fine except their hardware isn't compatible with Win 11, which we're being forced to upgrade to in Oct. My '88 Nissan still runs great.

Eh resale value holds very little real value considering a vehicle depreciates so drastically rolling off the lot... In reality it's used as an incentive to keep buying the same make as you get way more value trading like for like.
