I once tried a Bluetooth Headset for my PC. You could trace a straight line from the receiver to my motherboard. I kept my phone away from both. I disabled WiFi on my router and modem.
...It still found interference. Heck, it was better at finding static and pops than actual audio.
I HATE wireless bluetooth earphones but every time I buy wired something fucky happens like the wire snapping or the headphones break and I know it's a me problem because I suck at maintaining tech
Wireless Headphones that have their own USB recievers can be a safer bet. I have a pair of Turtle Beach 600Xs and theyve never let me down, though the range is definitely a lot shorter than BT.
I honestly just think I'm cursed with headphones cuz every single pair I had broke. I have pair of cheap BT earbuds and they've lasted me for a while now
The best of both worlds: Wireless headphones with an audio jack socket so you can plug them like normal and never turn them on for active/wireless use. Easier to replace the cable in them.
some bt devices only remember 1 computer and ignore other ones. Try to put them in pairing mode and select them in the new computer. Also bt is basically like sound, doesn't work good through walls
For absolutely no reason too, even bluetooth 1 with 732 kb/s should have been able to support two decent-quality audio streams, and bluetooth 4 with 3 Mb/s should be able to handle two streams of uncompressed stereo audio
I seem to have a particular curse, it so rarely works for me, or everything *should* be working and it's just...not. I use it as little as possible to avoid becoming infuriated.
Me trying to connect my Dualshock 4 Controller to my PC only then to find out my system didn't come with it. So I had to buy an extension. Then Steam is like,"Well yes it can work but it won't because it's not XBOX. Wanna Input Custom Steam Controls?"
I got frustrated with having to switch my headphones from my phone my computer's bluetooth so I bought a second pair so each would have it's own. Now I have two headphones that don't connect.
