🌿☕Fuchsias were named after the botanist Leonhard Fuchs after having been 'discovered' by French friar & botanist Charles Plumier in the 1690s during a colonial bioprospecting expedition to the West Indies for Louis XIV of France

It's local name was molle ecantu or the "beauty bush", I can see why🌱
