Defunding vast swaths of our most vulnerable citizens is not going to convince voters Labour are different & trustworthy
Offering a few thousand kids a free breakfast isn’t going to counterbalance the level of suffering & resentment they’ll oversee
13% of whom are severely disabled (Enhanced PIP).
Not to mention people losing Carers Allowance.
I’m going to lose 10K a year🎉
On top of the 3K I am going to lose with the move to UC.
For context I am on Enhanced Both (PIP) and medically retired; on really 💩 pensions.

The least affected areas tend to be much less deprived – but even here, more than a third of PIP daily living claimants are at risk

- There are 97 seats where at least 80% of PIP daily living claimants with arthritis are at risk
- Over 70% of claimants with multiple sclerosis and neuropathic diseases in Lewisham East and Sheffield Heeley are exposed to the rule change

People who are severely disabled will lose vital support.
Now we have Labour doing the right thing in the dumbest way possible.
Like they're saving the money that needed saving. But this is a horrendous way to do it.
The Treasury doesn’t work like a business or a household bank account, so “saving money” by making cuts everywhere is just a demonstration of economic illiteracy.
They need to make massive cuts and tighten purse-strings, whilst also increasing economic output.
But starting here, was barbaric.
