This fire will make it untenable for them to stay in LA, when they’ve already been out of work for 1-2 yrs now due to
I know set designers and props masters and character actors and writers and producers who’ve been out of work in an expensive city they’d only JUST begun to make a living in their career not a few yrs back.
If they haven’t lost their (rental) home or apt, they’ve lost their community. My friend’s kid’s school burnt down. My other friend lost their home.
The Bear keeps getting all these fucking awards. It’s fantastic. And a writer can’t make rent BEFORE the fires. And now this.
