Interesting stuff, I like the bottom right the most out of those 4. Say, how involved is it to set up and run a stable diffusion instance? I’ve been meaning to play with it but haven’t had time yet.

If it's anything like when I set it up, it's easy! You just follow the instructions on the A1111 GitHub, everything (except the SD model itself) downloads to your comp automatically, and you're good to go! Especially if u aren't trying to use too many add-ons or complex features it shld be a breeze!

Nice, I’ll have to give it a go. I love how frictionless using mid journey is but I don’t like the limitations it places. Imagine these tools (or their descendants) in another 10 years. It’s going to be a wild ride.

If you've never done anything with coding before, you'll have to install some dependencies like python as well, so maybe more like an afternoon of work, but it's really not that hard with all the online resources. Good luck, msg me if you have questions 🙏🚀

Oh I can't wait for next year, let alone a decade xD but yes, if you have a graphics card with a good amount of VRAM (mine has 10 but you can go lower with some settings changed) you should be able to use SD to your heart's content with minimal effort. Many guides exist for how to install

Fascinating! Are you a fan of superheroes? Or just like the aesthetics in general... And yeah I mean SD setup varies depending on when exactly you try to do it xD the most popular way to do it is through Automatic1111 which is constantly growing and evolving, so I don't know exactly how it is now...

Yep guilty, love superheroes and comics etc. I generally enjoy bright, intense, contrasting colors. For the texture I think the splotchy ness is interesting for something traditionally constructed like a mask. Instead of being manufactured it almost looks painted, but it doesn’t behave like paint.

Wow thank you! That's great commentary, I appreciate it so much 🙏 and yeah I love superheroes too, even more as an adult now that I realize that the real Fantasy element of most comics is the idea that there is a Right and a Wrong in the world, objectively... I miss childhood 😅🤖
