I came out afterward and there was another housekeeper outside my room. I explained what happened and she was like "yeah, that's not her room". I felt bad and I was like "ok well I guess I'll tip you too. I probably shoulda just left it in the room, huh?"
So i tipped 2x. NBD. Lesson learned tho.

That’s why when in the US we usually leave a thank-you note and a little envelope of hope—aka a tip. Never know what’s enough, so we just come armed with 20s and 50s like it’s Monopoly night. In Europe? We skip the drama and just… pay people properly.🤣
