Not to, like, jinx it, but... as a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer I find it odd to see USAID decimated, the whole post-war soft power apparatus blithely kicked to the curb, and not also see Peace Corps obliterated. Maybe I missed it? Too puny to be a priority? Didn't make the news?
