It sure was. Grateful to the mule deer for breaking some trail for me. There's lots of snow! Saw a coyote and some mule deer, too

I read once that they're often up there in winter because (at least in Ontario) they love eating the leaf buds for aspen, birch, willow, alder, and ironwood😀🌳
