As someone who grew up in a pretty Conservative community and spent much of their youth terrified the end of the world was imminent, I’ll admit I was hesitant at first but I eventually did watch and actually found it oddly reassuring and hopeful. Which I really needed right now. Thank you.
Oh yeah, I had forgotten in the 80s-90s, people were using Nostradamus for some WW3/nuclear war predictions that did not materialize, until 9/11 then it was all the "King of Terror" stuff. But yeah, I can see how some could be traumatized.
