Don't know why it passed me by as I would have been the right age for it when it came out. Thanks to my sister, I'd already seen American Werewolf and Wolfen by that time. Is this tamer in comparison?

I'd put it on about the same level as Wolfen. No way is it anywhere near as awesome as American Werewolf in London.
