I'm strongly resisting the urge to make a comment about how Kamala Harris did not, in fact, say that Jan 6th was worse than 9/11 or Pearl Harbor; this is a misrepresentation of her comments. Is the suggestions viz. "conversation across difference" that is not valuable to correct this misinformation?

Were I in this situation and knew that with a reference I would have mentioned it, but not aggressively, but Audrey is Taiwanese and I doubt she has ready access to such facts.

Respectfully disagree. This comes across as two people opportunistically using the conversation to advance their own causes, with no substantive engagement on the “difference”
between J6 and the Sunflower movement.

Strange that you ignored my question but responded to this; I wasn't trying to pick a fight, my question was genuine. In cases like this, is it better *not* to get into the muck and try to correct misinformation?

I understand the other comments here re Laura's views and I have to say part of me agrees. But at the very least, it's interesting that Plurality ideas are getting traction with the other side. Like, the waaay other side.

Sure she’s charismatic and a bit damaged, but Laura Loomer unironically associates with extreme racists and white supremacists. To say “conversation across difference” without mentioning that is … something. Have your discourse @audreyt.org but this be honest about what she stands for.

She’s so uh … “across difference” that when she won her primary (by faking endorsement from the local party but w/e) when she ran for office that all of the other GOP candidates refused to back her, and even ran a non-party conservative candidate so voters would have a less nazi-adjacent choice
