I find it weird how Nintendo alternates between him wearing a red shirt/blue overalls to then blue shirt/red overalls, it's like they can't make up their mind. imo he looks much better with the red/blue because it matches his cap, I think it's way more natural compared to the og color scheme of smb

Mario’s been wearing blue overalls exclusively in-game since the 90’s, and in promo art since the late 80’s, unless you’re talking about optional costumes. What do you mean they can’t make up their mind?

I was born in 2000, so any prior knowledge to the 80s/90s stuff, that was basically nonexistent because I didn't exist yet, but as someone who did eventually did grow up playing several Mario games, it seemed rather odd and inconsistent to me as a kid, and still does. I know it's a stylistic choice.

I didn't say he did, I'm just sayin any prior knowledge to knowing about that was unknown to me because I was a kid, I never looked that deep into it because I just never really thought about it all that much, so in my mind it's sort of an odd mandala effect that stuck in my mind because it'sunusual

1 and 4 are the best Marios imo. Short, stout and portly as Mario should be. :)
