I just broke my resolution not to buy yarns but to use the stash... I ordered lots of books for my daughter yesterday as @bookshop-org-uk.bsky.social is doing #ReadItForward, so I feel a bit better about it 😅 I'm weak to both!

Thankfully I've plenty of yarn that's gathered over the years to keep me in new Hat designs for a long time. And thankfully my yarn storage cupboards are full, so I reckon I'm safe on that front!

But somehow I keep managing to find books I don't have & gaps on my bookshelves 🙈

Yeah, I can relate to that! I keep buying craft books, my daughter wants to buy books in sets and my husband buys cooking books 🤣 Then, I buy yarns and he buys ingredients... 😆

Our end game is to move my studio into the basement rumpus room, which is double the size of my current studio, although the wall space isn't that much more - it'll be a way better teaching space, though. It's at the front of the house & opens onto the garden 😍

Unfortunately, not where I am! We have a small library in town, but I doubt there's a library in the Italy that'll order in obscure English language textiles books for me :/
