I arm wrestled a girl in fourth grade and lost. I was struck out 3 times by a girl pitcher in 6th grade. I lost foot races, spelling bees, multiplication challenges, debates and eventually my virginity. But I also lost contests to many boys. Sometimes I won. I still play but I don’t compete.
