To be honest I thought his performance as Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter was pretty weak, but he was only on the screen for like 4 minutes and I assume it was the director more than him.
That whole film is a mess, but Tennant being miscast and barely getting to speak (he gets a LONG monologue in the book) is one of the very worst parts. The film needed it, too, to clarify what happened for anyone who didn't read the books.
I feel like I was a little disappointed in his Broadchurch performance. But hey, maybe he dialed it down so the other talent could shine. Or maybe he was just experimenting. Both signs of a consummate performer. Pobody's nerfect.
"There she goes" is one I've never watched but seen clips off - the portrayal of life with an autistic daughter is probably the most accurate you can find.
I appreciate that after being a heartthrob and lovable guy on Dr. Who for several seasons he came to America to play the most despicable villain of all time in Jessica Jones and absolutely killed the role. Talk about range.
He's in a lot of crap even he can't save, but the man's got an entire football team of children, sometimes he's gotta take Nativity 2: Danger In the Manger so he can feed them
When Disney+ said they would do Doctor Who, then Doctor Who decided to do another season of David Tennant I was looking forward to David in a cross over with Marvel where he will meet himself as the evil Marvel villion he played.
I knew that he'd been Doctor Who but didn't actually see him in anything until Jessica Jones as Kilgrave. He was so good in that in made me want to watch him in Who.

Him playing Alexander Litvinenko was the final straw for me
