wish you couldve seen it 15 years ago when it was bustling on weekends and full of trendy designer toy stores and stuff... i bought so many pinky streets there as a kid but also lots of crazy bootleg stuff and things youd never expect like a bin of tokimeki memorial figs for a buck each
it honestly used to be a great chinatown but when the famous dim sum place closed it caused a chain reaction that took every store around it and its been downhill since. sucks how deserted it is now. somehow neo happyland is immortal though, its been the only open business in that mall for ages
In honor of these comments I will go to Chinatown this weekend and See What Is Up. Maybe night time is better? I only went during work hours and nothing was happening, lol
oh no its completely dead now lol, i wouldnt recommend it its just depressing. although neo happyland is a legit nice hobby shop and its easy to park in that mall since no one goes there. im just saying that at the time they made this it probably WAS popping :(
although, you might enjoy walking through saigon plaza at least once even though last time i went it was a little sad. be prepared to haggle if you see things you want. i got a bootleg seto kaiba riding a razor scooter and some doraemon pajamas last time
