Really feeling this. Mainly, I'd like to find people from NL or at least Atlantic Can, who are often not included in 'starter packs' I've seen. Have also seen posts elsewhere of people I'd like to follow saying they've joined, only I can't seem to find them... 🙁

Feels a little like wandering around in the dark, with a blindfold on for good measure, in a room 1000-1 packed with people you don't want to bump into as you search for someone in particular. You'll probably find them eventually, but the search is really irritating.

The search seems to be a bit hit or miss but I'll admit I've not had the time to really dig deep on this. Most of my fav posters arent on twitter anymore so searching there is fruitless.

You can use the packs as a guide, but select within the pack the people you want to follow (i.e. do your own curating of the pack). Also, if you have people you followed on twitter, most likely many of them are here too. You can search for their names/handles here. This is how I started.
