I’ve been wanting to release fun/optimistic music since at least 2019, (and have). But I also wanted to release it in the most dystopian of times. i'm very intentionally working on my most upbeat record specifically as a form of joy as protest. i say go for it. we need things to dance to now more than ever.

And my thought is that whatever drops out of my head is better off "out there"... it may be the right thing at the right time? But not on your hard drive it won't be.

I am sure not everyone feels the same way, but from my own experience it is during difficult times that fun and optimistic music is at its highest potential to help lift one's spirits.
