I think the unfortunate thing for these people is that they're trolls specifically here to ruin the fun, and it's really gross.

I'm tired of hearing about it (not like that) because it makes me so sad to see my friends so down about it :(

creators should be able to create without facing harrassment/accusations. if someone doesn’t personally like a ship or a particular dynamic, that’s fine! scroll. block. mute. curate your own space. but attacking artists and writers over their personal interpretations is not okay.

one of the biggest arguments i’ve seen against dom!alastor is the claim that it’s racist; accusing people of portraying him as a “big scary black man” in a predatory light.

while I won’t deny that problematic portrayals can exist in media, I myself have yet to see anyone in the radioapple community intentionally doing this. most of us are just enjoying a fictional relationship between two mfs in hell. not everything has to be a social statement.

not EVERY dynamic is inherently harmful. and most importantly: people should not have to justify their creative choices to strangers on the internet. to those who have been harassed, ignored, or made to feel ashamed of your art: i see you. you’re not doing anything wrong.
