The looks on the faces of the people in the crowd probably match what we were doing here at home. If I recall correctly, Yuta stopped trying to pull when he realized that he'd cause more harm than good. I'm sure someone also pointed out that he wasn't gloved & should probably let others handle it.

1) My issue with this spot in particular is that it takes me out of the match. Violence that makes me go "Oh fuck, these dudes really want to kill each other!" enhances the match, like what we had with Toni Storm and Mariah May, or CM Punk and Drew Mcintyre's Hell in a cell last year.

2) But this just makes me think, "Damn he's just here to hurt himself" and I'm now thinking about his safety, not the match I'm watching. In a strange way spots like that make the match feel less realistic. I don't know where the line is, and the only way to find the line it to push it.

To your final point, I will argue that what Mox did Wednesday with the extenuating circumstances, match and spot finally helped build some goodwill that had all but dissipated among the the overarching world title scene. There's buzz at the moment. And that's a good thing for the company.
