After AI made the diagnosis, did it counsel the pt? Did it ask about the pts thoughts and fears and concerns about the diagnosis? Did AI understand the atavistic worry about the future that pts with a new diagnosis often have?

I'm increasingly seeing "AI made a diagnosis that doctors [might have] missed". Okay, AI is good at pattern recognition. But medicine isn't just diagnosis. Indeed, diagnosis is often the easy bit. Would you entrust your health decisions to a bot who can't pick out the traffic lights in a captcha?

I’m intrigued by ‘low value’ work as an idea
Reviewing referrals allows pt safety
Searching for info- even in the ed, going through pt notes/pdfs is an excellent way of finding info that you don’t know that you don’t know
