The Flemington Rd bike lanes require you to ride in a narrow lane wedged between parked cars on the left (although often empty) and 60km/hr traffic on the right (although often at a standstill). There's no protection. Just hope/fear.

New “no bicycles” stencils have been painted on the footpath adjacent to Flemington Rd.
You know, rather than actually doing something to make cycling in the bike lane feel safe and welcoming.
