Elections have consequences. Democrats need to inject more anger and fear in their campaigns. Combined with the substance (which Trump and GOP didn't even have), that will propel from victory to victory.

Democrats have the capacity to fix their shortcomings. They first have to admit them. They need to resolve and decide to start stirring the voters emotions in defense of the IMPROVED LIVELIHOOD aspirations that they share across all division lines. Anger and fear are stronger motivators than joy.
