Almost 13% of our rural county, is on Medicaid. Most of those folks are barely getting by. They voted for the First Felon, at 95%. It never occurred to them that the snake would turn around and kill them.

I have an ongoing discussion with a good friend that also happens to be pro-first felon.Every time,I mention things like Musk getting into the Treasury, she says "well, he doesn't do anything that is bad for us, and I'm sure the POTUS, gave him permission" "So that's o.k. with you?" That's my point. We are blue in a strong red district. But these folks haven't felt the brunt yet. They have small farms and small businesses. They don't pay that much or anything, in taxes anyway, so the pittance of tax savings won't mean that much. What they will lose, is at a much greater cost.
