Typical electioneering. Economic trends can’t and won’t move overnight. The 2025 budget was set in June 24, and by Jan 20 25, we’re seeing very modest alterations. All of Trumps’s “savings” will get baked into the ‘26 budget. I hope he can save a Tril. We’d be lucky with half that.
