Cancel any card that won't work with you on late fees.
Unless you are chronically late they will, in most cases, remove the charge.

Also, if anyone out there has ever paid an nsf fee, did you know that processing a bounced check only costs the bank about $1.50? Think about the astronomical profit when you are charged almost $40.00.
