After a fractured ankle, I was at home for 4 months. My partner was rarely home because of work. So I still had to take care of everything, household and child. Luckily, my parents took great care of my daughter and me, but I became increasingly depressed.#BTSArmy

2020 Sept got sick(not covid) had stay in hospital alone 15 days on dialysis a month and a half. My mom passed in November (cancer). Both times bts was there for me. 💜 They kept me sane.

(+) Interlude: Shadow had to be THAT song... it was down(up)hill from there! I experienced MOTS:7 release live, pandemic hit & they were my angels. I ended up leaving my job much later, but the gift they've given me is indescribeable. My heart grew because of them 💜

It all started with my daughter. I began listening to their music and did some research. Soon, I realized that I had gone down the rabbit hole, and there was no way back.

I kinda "ignored" them at 1st, convinced they weren't my jam.
Their music helped me when I was grieving my dad and grandad, after 10 years fighting traumas, and during a Covid quarantine. I was scrolling to fight restlessness and ON burst the pain bubble I was keeping at bay.

#whyImArmy? I was months into recovering from Covid, I had extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, tachycardia and nightly anxiety attacks, among other things. BTS made me laugh, and cry, and helped my mind focus on something wholesome and positive. They brought me to a different, much better place.

I cannot overstate how much it helped me to discover Bangtan and, through them, the Army community. It has made a huge difference in my life. Having said that, Long Covid sucks big time. After two verified infections, I'm still suffering from the consequences. I hope you have recovered well!💜🫂

I love that you pointed it out! BTS actually use a lot of psychological themes in their work. There's Map of Soul the album (Based on Jung's MOTS), Magic shop (reference to the psychodrama technique), Amygdala, a song on trauma processing😅 Snooze with a grounding technique built in.. i could go on

I found BTS during the early pandemic lockdown and BLM protests. Their music inspired me. They taught me how to laugh at a time when I'd forgotten. BTS and their music got me through some of the hardest times...as did the ARMY family I've found 💜

I didn’t find BTS, they found me - through my sister lol
I used to tease her when she went deep purple (shamefully).
She asked me to go to the ARMY screening of Yet To Come in London.
I enjoyed it so much, we went back the next day to a different screening. I’ve happily never looked back
