We're actually on the cusp of a second adventure game Renaissance. Puzzley games are making a comeback as people enjoy a compelling challenge that isn't about physical reflexes.
I've played so many truly excellent point n' clicks over the past few years, I think it's fair to say the genre isn't just alive but thriving right now and I couldn't be happier about it
I think people say that because studios Lucasarts and Sierra stopped making them. Even though “Return to Monkey Island” or “Thimbleweed park” come out and where awesome, amazing and incredible.
