In rough terms a twink necessarily needs to be young, mid-20's tops, but I guess internet made it any slim/slightly defined hairless guy of any age as long as they have this kind of body and have a youthful vibe
I mean... It is a vibe but if being a buzzkill, all that's beyond "tw..." is not twink anymore. The word itself came from the concept of being "twenty -smth-"🤔
Twink has always been a young guy in his 20's. But I've seen people use it so often for Astarion because of his build. But he's too old to be a true twink by the original definition of the term. 😆
Considering sometimes it's used like "Dumb Blonde", I imagine Astarion would use it as an insult on someone like Petras. If someone called him this he'd focus on the "Oh you think I look young, how...sweet." And then say something about age before beauty and how, either way, he's still at the top.
Wiki says one definition is 18-23, so you can take it or leave it. 😂 I actually think a lot of the “boyish” aspect got lost when it was picked up by mainstream culture. Astarion, for instance, is not actually twink-coded by the true definition, both by his facial appearance and mannerisms.
