Im sorry but if you believe this, continuing to give UC and going home on Thursdays is inexcusable @chrismurphyct.bsky.social. And I frankly dont care if your colleagues are on board or not. Put up or shut up.

Murphy: "The vast majority of Republicans, their number one priority is Trump seizing power, and the Trump family and the MAGA universe holding power forever ... with the exception of maybe 20 Republicans in the Senate, the GOP inside Congress is done with democracy."

We see their bs, and they will not be rewarded for their inaction.
So I second you: put up or shut up.
Ignoring donors is a bad move
They have staff answering phones and tallying emails from the people at home. They refuse to meet with them bc they're afraid of getting asked questions regarding their cowardice and hostility to the Constitution
Democratic Rep& Senators have been not only holding town halls in their own districts & states, their holding town halls in Republican districts where their representatives refuse to hold them.
Sorry for any confusion!
"The Democrats should stay in DC the weekend there are massive protests happening in all of their districts, I am very smart."
And Rubio was getting confirmed regardless of how the Democratic caucus voted.
Other than voting, much of what they do does not require them to be in session
It's also crazy that people On Here don't get that Congressional Dems are involved with the dozens & dozens of lawsuits that have been filed
It is indisputably true that there are bots & trolls amplifying any & every thing that could make people mad at Dems.
You're literally complaining about them not being obstructive enough AND complaining about them being obstructive in the same sentence.
They eat up calendar time & force Republicans to face angry constituents, which have more power to make them change their votes than the Democrats have themselves.
After Booker concluded, they gave unanimous consent to take a breather before voting, & people here act like they approved the nominee
Never mind that pausing for a breather after Booker might look better to the 99.9% of voters not here & keep the media focused on him.
