now THIS is the appropriate time to call someone ungrateful!
dude went thru the whole involved process of being taught to fish and NEVER ONCE said he didnt like fish before the END??? not once??? rude-ass, wasting time. throws a gardening how-to book at him.
What if I prefer Buffalo because I don't wanna do it all day every day? I can feed my family for a month with one day of work… remember how we used to be able to do that 100 years ago?
There might be a few places left, certainly not in the ocean, but no matter where it is, not everyone can fish there. There was always a level of mercury in the ocean, but there’s 3x more than their used to be before we started burning coal, certain kinds of mining, and industrial waste.
Well now you can trade fish you catch. Pretty sure most people outside the western world are eating food they don’t like. Dig a well and complain it’s not flavored water?

Thanks for your perspective, Rick
Throw an ungrateful little shit in the deep end
And he'll hold his breath for a second.
Hold him under in the deep end
And he'll hold his breath for the rest of his life.
(with apologies to Terry Pratchett, who is dead and can't fight back.)
Set a man on fire, keep him warm for the rest of his life.
That’s as foolish as doomsday preppers that think their backyard garden will make them food independent
