So, I want to make a boss fight in a video game that heals whenever you do. Like, whenever you take the time to use your heal flask/whatever item, it uses theirs.
So it forces you to be BETTER than them, and defeat them without healing through the fight.
It’s genuinely funny how much people HATE bosses who can heal. I genuinely think people would rather fight a boss with 20,000 HP over a boss with 10,000 but it can heal for 6000 over the course of the fight. Interesting psychology
Well if I can do a max of 7,000 damage every turn, I would be able to kill the 20,000 hp boss in three turns, but if the 10,000 hp boss healed 6000 every turn, it would take me 4 turns to beat. Course the boss would need to heal after every turn and I would need to not worry about healing myself lol
