A reminder that any copies of these books schools had are not allowed to be redistributed or donated (IE Must be destroyed) and ALSO kids are not even allowed to carry their own personal copies to school.

Saying it louder: Utah has banned TWO MORE BOOKS from public schools *in the entire state*.
These are YA books that were available only to high schoolers.
TWO schools in the state are responsible for over 80% of the state-mandated book bans.
So much for "local control."

It doesn't matter until there's a lawsuit and lawsuits are expensive and slow and require plaintiffs who may have their lives ruined by the process.
