With big corps you need to wait two weeks to get access to all the systems you need to have access to so that you can do any work at all. 😅

My first corp job was working on a Spring + Angular stack. The Angular part wasn't too bad, but the Java part was a pain. I didn't like all the logical indirection, code generation, runtime introspection, dependency management, build process, or config in XML.

The meetings weren't endless, though, and standup really was always less than five minutes. My biggest gripe was that there were strict UI guidelines, which I followed to a tee, but there was conflicting stuff in requirement documents and from my boss, so I ended up in the middle of all that.
