If you think that this deer is unusual, well you're right! He is a Père David's deer, I don't really know is there any certain name for deer centaur, so I'll be calling it that way.

That deer is extinct in the wild and one of the reasons was a belief thet it's meat will give endless luck to the one who eats it.

That deer is also unique in appearance, because it's horns are pointed backwords. One of chinese names literally translates to "four not alike", which could mean "the four unlikes" or "like none of the four"; it is variously said that the four are cow, deer, donkey, horse (or) camel.
