The most expensive thing in the world is being poor. That’s one of the MANY reasons it makes sense to fight poverty. Reducing poverty doesn’t just help the poor, it helps everyone.
You definitely didn't get the real education of stress and destressing patients. There are other real professors out there teaching this. It helps you as much as your patients, family and friends. Harvard and many other colleges have them.
I once read a ms. by a doctor making that very argument. He never found a publisher, unfortunately--not a popular message-- but I never forgot what I learned from it.
Now consider an additional fact: that some communities are *knowingly* being targeted for gun trafficking. That’s right. The ATF knows which gun dealers are *repeatedly* linked as *the supply sources* for the crime guns recovered by police,
and the gun industry also knows who these crime gun supply source dealers are, but in an appearance of valuing gun profits over peoples lives agenda, the gun industry continues to supply those guns to the dealers they know are supplying crime guns over and over again to our communities.
More guns, will result in more gun deaths, and more youth being repeatedly exposed to *chronic* gun* trauma* on a routine basis. As guns & firearm possessions are made easily available, and all things gun deregulated by the gun industry and willing members of congress,
communities will become flooded with more guns (a priority issue for gop and the gun industry). What do healthcare experts anticipate will occur as a consequence of these dangerous policies and practices, (not only within these communities, but at local hospitals, among doctors and nurses,
and what do educators think will occur for students in schools traumatized with repeat gun violence loss & injury incidents, and in families trying to raise their kids in a safe community & hold their jobs), where communities are *already*under*assaultthrough gun trafficking?
And what of trafficked guns, linked over and over to the same dealers (still licensed and in operation), who are repeatedly traced to providing the guns used in crimes, and linked to crime scenes?
