Got word that several NIH employees in a group working on cancer clinical trials got terminated via email this evening.

“The [cancer research] trials will literally not be able to function without us.”

Trump and Musk are killing cancer research. 🧪

My daughter was just diagnosed with T1. She would always ask "why me" or "do I have this for the rest of my life." This was 6 months ago. At the time the nurses, doctors, and her family repeatedly told her 10 years ago they didn't have sensors/pumps/etc., so who knows where things will be in 10 more

😩 So many of these actions have been so cruel and obviously self interested. But this time, it's not like Trump or Musk are immune to cancer or other diseases. Do they not realize that all their money can't buy years of high quality research and advancement the day that they're diagnosed?
