I’m uncomfortable with how this article frames the privileged as if all the brown people suffering from these policies somehow deserve their treatment. 😒
All very sad. But on the bright side — trump got a Russian ballerina who hated Russia enough to immigrate here, but went home to visit mom and dad and got locked up —freed.
US police and security officials view themselves as warriors, and the people they are supposed to serve are enemy combatants. These organizations seem to self select for this trait. Not sure how we are ever going to walk this back.
