Via @arianalfigueroa.bsky.social: U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis continued to ask DOJ Attorney Drew Ensign where Abrego Garcia was located. Ensign said he had no information. “It’s quite basic,” she said. “I’m not asking for state secrets.”

he's already committed like 50 impeachable offenses since he was inaugurated and in a good world where good things happen this would be the nail in the fucking coffin
This issue is deeply troubling on so many levels, but the most distressing part IMO is their refusal to tell anyone, even a district judge, where he is.
Why not?
A ready answer quickly comes to mind but it is so horrifying I just don’t want to voice it out loud.
If Cosplay Barbie can get into and out of the El Salvador facility, obviously the US gov has some control there.... If the DOJ attorney had any sense of ethics he would resign.
So could the judge indicate that if these lawyers didn't know any information that they are compelled to bring people to court that do know? And if not they will be held in contempt? There have to be more buttons to push. Perhaps move up the chain of command?

"So where is he?"
"I don't know."
"You realize I ordered you to tell me."
"We'll find out....eventually. Just not now. Or probably later."
