While of course there's a lot of PFAS applications in new buildings everywhere, the Nordic countries saw a later urbanisation than the Continent. Consequently, it's my impression one has a fair bit more new buildings giving people more PFAS exposure from buildings than on the Continent.

... eg. where one might previously use stone, brick and/or limestone facades to keep water out of the insides of buildings, one uses more PFAS based water proofing chemicals on exteriors and bathroom/kitchen walls...amongst other PFAS application areas in modern buildings…

.. .anyway, I'd not be surprised there's more PFAS exposure from buildings in the northern hemispheres, that were urbanised somewhat later.

We can show how the industry used false or misleading arguments in its lobbying efforts, over and over again. And we can show that politicians fell for them. More than two dozen media outlets will publish around 100 articles, videos & audios over the next few days about lobbying and clean-up costs.
