Not a massive sports fan but do follow Cycling.
That’s a data driven sport where the power numbers are routinely collected and analysed.
Emily Bridges offered her training data for study and it would have been an amazing case study on the claims about trans competitors.
Instead?
She was banned.

But THEN the anti trans media turned up on their doorstep...
The truth WILL out
I saw players protesting and even walking away from the sport in response to the transphobia and due props to them for it.
It never about “saving women’s sport”, just enforcing patriarchy.
If this was about fairness?
Then British Cycling could have done the work and found out…
…it wasn’t and they didn’t.
Blanket bans on anyone is unjustified, and that goes double where the evidence actually suggests disadvantage, as with trans athletes:

And now transphobes target DSD. 🤷♀️
We saw that over the rumours that Imane Khelif was intersex.
Behind both is dehumanising, misogynistic, homophobic, rhetoric.
My feeling is that there’s more racism in those attacking people with (or alleged to have) DSDs but both camps are awful.
It’s a good case study for why racism harms trans activism and vice versa.
