Okay I went back to Marvel Rivals and Im having a ton of fun now with reset expectations. The honk honk balance is fun in its own way, but I DO need some changes:

The main menu UI is a cluster fuck

The level design is bad and generic

I think the main difference is that it's kinda easier to get the currency to buy it and you can buy lower amounts of currency so you're not locked into buying $5 minimum

Idk from what I'm seeing the battle pass only gives you like $6 which isn't even enough for the battle pass itself

Haven't paid OW cosmetics in like 8 years so idk, I got the black panther bundle with the achievements and events during season 0 and got the battle pass from it and now I got enough for another 1600 bundle, it's great that stuff can be paid with either blue, gold or both imo

oh yeah that probably doesn't help lol

gold is used to buy the luxury battle passes, blue AND gold comes from the battle passes

purple is for buying from the battle passes and comes from challenges, dailies, achievements, etc.

you can buy blue and purple with gold I think

They cost the same and the premium currency expired each season. The Battle Pass doesn't expire, but the currency DOES.

It's the last line of the info and rules with the Battlepass section and they extremely bury it so people just give free press feeling self-righteous.

First off, they still hide the Battlepass Rules under that translucent button.

Second, they did revise some policies with Season1, but they added more fuckery, so some of Season 1 was BS then, but that Overwatch hateboner means no one reports on it.

At least PART of the problem was changed!

I will need to go over the new rules myself too.

In S0, they advertised that the "Luxury" Battlepass (singular) was eternal if you bought it. Now you have to buy MULTIPLE (plural) and you just get to keep THOSE forever, but you still have to buy later ones. So, S0 was totally a lie.

Ok, so all that No-FOMO stuff people were saying was also BS.

You have to buy the LuxuryPass for THAT season during THAT Season or you do miss it for good unless they offer it later (copium).

So if you don't buy Season 1, you miss all Season 1 rewards once Season 2 starts.

I think (and I’m not 100% sure because I never really bought Overwatch skins) I think Marvel rivals are a little cheaper? according to one post it’s like 17$ Canadian for marvel rivals skins but like 20+ for Overwatch.
