I will say that as far as the gaming community itself goes, it's only been in the last like 10 years that people have started to recognize it as the masterpiece it is.
Honestly the only things I would change would be the battle speed, give Eiko a little more story time, and swap out Amarant for Beatrix as a party member. We can have our personal favorites but there’s some secret sauce in FFIX that just can’t be replicated.
