I would love to hear about this expanding to other schools in other states. "Gentleman's Club" however has an unfortunate connotation. I propose calling it "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen".
Takes me back to when I was a caseworker and one of the kids I worked with was graduating from middle school and didn't have clothes and I took his mom to the store and bought him clothes out of my own pocket. Moments like these are important.
Political work is more than protest, shouting political slogans, and making demands. It manifests itself in one's own daily actions, in which one actively opposes an unjust system.

It would be nice if the same was done for young girls/women growing up without a mother. Does anyone know if there is a program for girls also?
