Hi Robert, in my town (Kingston, NY), the DPW is resistant to adding more flexposts because drivers destroy them too quickly. We can't do bollards because of snow plows and DPW says screw-in bollards create maintenance problems. Do you have any suggestions?

We thankfully don't have to deal with snowplow-related issues here, so I'm not the best person to ask for design mitigations around that. I'm sure @bikemn.bsky.social has some great suggestions though.

But around here we are seeing a lot less interest in flexposts and more concrete installations in general. Once the maintenance and upkeep is figured in the flexposts aren't as good of a value proposition even in areas w/o snow, let alone the reduced effectiveness wrt safety.
