What are your thoughts on moving to a 3,2,1 point system? I’ve seen it brought up before and the Islanders season last year makes me think it would be a good idea. You shouldn’t be able to close a gap in the standings with OT losses, especially if another team is winning in regulation.

I've been saying this for years. It doesn't make any sense that some games are worth 2 points and others are worth 3. It's like you are rewarded for dragging the game to ot but nothing for closing it out in 60. Because it makes sense, it will probably never happen.
