What strikes me is the fact that this common experience here could be superficially judged as in flagrant contradiction with the native openness of the net as a positive value. Instead it is yet another proof that Karl Popper was right when he defined the famous paradox about the “open society”
Interesting what is emerging from Bsky members: the general experience of a virtual environment which is way more pleasing than the “other” social networks. Which means that a closed environment of varied people with a common will to communicate but no polemics is quite good.
