Sweet Jesus, to its credit? OMG, so well done Tesla for letting the police know ahead of time passengers were being burnt alive. I can not believe that Teslas pass safety protocols to even be registered to drive on the roads.
Happened in Toronto few weeks ago too, not the phone calls but Tesla catching fire and killing 3/4 occupants. Apparently doors locked automatically from inside (bystander broke window & rescued the 1 survivor, couldn’t see anyone else due to heavy smoke). Death machines
I might just be imagining the scene incorrectly but can someone explain to me how you get stuck between a wall and a sidewalk in a car??
Aren't those things like 90° of angle difference?
Specificity (some call it obfuscation, others cover-ass-ing). Legally, descriptions are supposed to be specific & free of prejudicial words. E.g. (this sounds nuts), a "silver truck" could mean a brand "Silver", or "made of silver" or "silver color" etc.
"Silver in color" is specific (but inane).
Oh that definitely doesn't fit.
I'm certainly not agreeing with the bastardization of the language AT ALL - I hate obfuscation, especially when it's deliberately designed to either make the writer/speaker seem smart (ha...) or discourage people from getting the actual details...
And why do they always say “made entry into the home” instead of “entered the home” those are identical in meaning but one sounds absolutely ridiculous
Oh yeah, that one ties in with language with potential prejudice: "The suspect made entry into the home by breaking a window." - focuses on how suspect gained access, suggesting(ish) illegality.
"The suspect entered the home" (after the door was opened might be a missing bit).
"I know that you know that I'm not smart, but I'm going to put on a little 1 act play pretending to be someone who believes he is smart...and you have to watch.
Remember: the State allows me to murder you with impunity. Violence to words is the appetizer."
I'm not an expert but chances seem good at face value. If you stick a lithium battery in a fire, that fire is prolly gonna become a lithium battery fire.
Sure, most cars don’t burst into flame when they get stuck between two inanimate objects like when you crash your car in GTA in a place the game wasn’t expecting but at least it did something that any old bystander could have (and did)
Three people dead and they're trying to give CREDIT to the murderers fucked up car that kills people for something it didn't even do (alert came from an iphone)
Pathetic, cowardly, repulsive disrespect for human life and for WHAT

like I can see 10,000 range but with inflation, this might be 100,000 range.
not for the one who wrote it no, but for the one who made the decision
I gave you all the clues

Just say the vehicle was a cybertruck. Just say it’s silver, not silver in color. Why are cops always so fucking weird with their language.

Intent, purpose etc.
